More About Me

The name "Horsefly" is a family nickname from my maternal grandfather. He called everyone "horsefly". He had a way with people and children that was calm and endearing. He passed away in 2012 and when I picked up my first camera and learned everything I could about it and photography, my passion grew into a business. One of the hardest things when starting a business is the name to stand out from the others. The name "horsefly" would not leave my thoughts. So, in 2017, Horsefly Photography began. As a  strong woman of faith and family,  I welcome all persons and cultures needing professional photography work.

My education includes an A.A.S in Digital Media Design, Photography. A Bachelor of Science in History, a Master's in History Education, and a Masters in Business.
